Irie Today

Irie told my mom to get her camera and take pictures of her tonight. Here are some and a video.

Then we went down to my Aunt Laurie's to see if Irie could swing on Oakley's swing. and found out that they had a new puppie. Her name is Rosie.

Then when we were walking home we stopped at the neighbors and chatted for a few and they offered us a cookie.

Obviously she liked it.

Through the eyes of a 23 month old

Irie got a hold of Nana's camera and these are the pictures she took.

And a whole bunch of this....

Not such a quick trip

Today I ran a bunch of errands. When I got home I realized that I needed snack sized baggies. So Irie and I went to Fred Meyer's. They were having a sidewalk sale and an additional 40% off of the clearance. So I went to look at Irie size stuff. Irie LOVES night gowns and they had some on clearance I grabbed a 2t and a 3t. I wanted to see if the 3t was way to big or just a little to big, because I want it to fit for a while. I moved Irie from the seat in the basket to the cart part, had her stand so i could check the length on the night gowns. I turned around to put the one back and I hear (in a total of 2 seconds) stuff falling on the floor, followed by a THUD and then SCREAMING. Irie fell head first out of the cart. I hurried and picked her up and tried to calm her down. She was laying on my shoulder, and I had her sit up so that I could look at her and make sure she was ok. She was drooling blood. I had nothing with me so I put her back in the seat and went to find a paper towel.

About 10 minutes later she was still crying at that point we were sitting in one of the display recliners still trying to calm her down. I told her that we would go get what we came for and go home. Got out to the car and called my mom to ask her opinion. ER or no ER? I told her what had happened and that she was still crying (She is not a crier, usually 5 minutes tops and she is totally over it.) and saying that she is really tired.

So my quick trip to Fred Meyers turned in to a trip to the ER. She cried for almost an hour (she only cried for a half hour when she broke her arm). The Dr. came and looked her over, said that we could do a cat scan to make sure that there was't anything floating around, but that was a lot of radiation. And if it was his child he wouldn't do it, unless she got worse. He also said not to be surprised if her eye was swollen shut in the morning. Because gravity will pull down the swelling.

She was acting normal by the time we got home. And this morning her eye was only a little bit more swollen then it was last night. However she does have a tiny bit of a black eye.

This is for Todd

OK The first two may look the same but they really are different.

Options:
White Black, Natural

But it also depends on what I can get. The boards are "reject" Cabinet doors. And they come in all kinds of wood. It just depends on what they have when I go out there.

The expense is going to come in the vinyl and the shipping. However I may have a solution on the shipping. MAYBE... We will be about half way between here and there the end of August if you wanted to drive over and meet us.

We Have Another New Member...

Another cousin comes on board...
