Hey Jan...I've been trying to figure out your picture situation and the only thing I've come up with is that it has to be in your profile settings. Try going into your Blogger profile and see if you've checked the box to share your profile...
I've been doing some experimenting with the pictures issue and there is all kinds of wierdness there. My suggestion is to upload your picture again...(?)
