I've had such a great time creating my own blog page to keep you all informed of how our house hunt, job hunt and move to Idaho progresses, that I decided to create a family blog page. This will be a blog where we can keep each other up to date on what we and our friends and families are doing, and important events in our lives. We can also post pictures to the blog or on separate pages...Much like the Mike's Friends and Family page.
You have each received an invitation to join the blog. Please accept the invitation and let me know if you what your email address or phone number shown with your name.
I think this is going to be fun for all of us and look forward to reading your posts!

ReplyDeleteI think I am all hooked up.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that. Janice said that she was having trouble leaving a comment.
ReplyDeleteOkay, looks like this is working now. I was hoping to beat Todd to the punch in getting in the first comment, but I guess when one is staying at his house, it kinda gives him an advantage.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think this is a great idea. We will see how it flys with everyone.
Let me be the first to add a bit of news. Melia and Carson have decided that November would be a good time to get married. They have set the date of 11.16.10 which is a Tuesday. They are just going to have a small ceremony; even talking about just going to the court house. Then in Feb/March time frame taking a big trip with all to Disneyland to celebrate. They have said anyone is invited, but everyone is responsible to pay their own way. Irie will be 2 1/2 by then so she should enjoy the characters and little kids rides. It'l be a blast. I can hardly wait.
A.J. turned 24 yesterday. Hard to believe he's that old. He reminded me last week when we were discussing goal setting that he shouldn't need his mother to help him set goals when he's 24. I reminded him of that when he asked me to mend his pants on Sunday.
Things are a bit quiet here in the Seattle area. The Census job ended the other night. Our crew ran out of binders to work. I can't say I was sorry to see it go. Originally they wanted no more than eighteen hours a week. When it ended they were wanting a minimum of 18-20. After living in Auburn for 21 years while doing the Census I worked some areas I didn't know existed. Some I was impressed with and there were some that I wasn't impressed with.
ReplyDeleteGwenn is trying to get over a case of bronchitus (I hope that is close to the correct spelling, I think you can figure it out.) Bronchitus is usually my gig, not hers. She is really getting tired of it.
We are getting ready to head for the beach in just over two weeks with our stint volunteering for the state parks. We will be south of Westport again. We understand all of the park personnel have changed except for the office manager. It should be interesting.
Jan, that is good news about Melia and Carson. As I said the on the phone last night we sure were happy when Christi and Leandro decided to get married. They decided to have the Bishop marry them and it does cost less than what they would pay a judge.
Ron, it seems as though you are making good progress on the house issue. I presume you are not dealing with the same bank. After the last attempt, dealing with another bank has to be refreshing. Tell Todd hi if you would.
I am ready for the weekend. This week I was the school librarian, taught US History, Special Ed and today was electronics. At least there were no math classes in there.
Everyone take care
